From Riley Adams Stops Time

Artemis stopped in front of a brick boarding house. The sign above the door read “R. SUGAR’S HOME FOR PROPER LADIES.”

Riley raised her eyebrows. “This is where you live? Never took you for the proper lady type.”

“Oh I am definitely not the proper lady type,” Artemis said, giving Riley her best rakish grin. “However, it was the best I could do on short notice and it’s actually quite nice. As long as you don’t have a man in your room after hours, no one asks too many questions and since I have absolutely no use for men in the bedroom, I’ve managed to fly under the radar.”

“Fair enough,” Riley said, wondering to herself how Artemis Bly could ever possibly fly under anyone’s radar.
